At Pioneer Valley Pediatric Dentistry, we believe positive dental experiences start with a caring and supportive team. From infants and children to teenagers and patients with special needs, our staff works hard to create an environment where families feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

We understand that visiting the dentist can feel unfamiliar for some children, especially during their first appointments. That is why our team focuses on helping children feel relaxed, informed, and encouraged throughout each visit. We take time to explain things in ways children can understand while also helping parents feel involved and informed about their children's oral health.

Our approach combines patient-centered care with modern pediatric dentistry techniques and materials. We are committed to providing preventive education and practical guidance that helps families build healthy habits for life. Every member of our team plays an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere where children can develop confidence in dental care at their own pace.

Kathy

Certified Dental Assistant

Kathy is a certified dental assistant who has been part of our team for more than 20 years. Her long-standing experience and dedication make her an important part of our practice and daily operations.

Licensed as a CDA in Massachusetts, Kathy oversees our OSHA and sterilization protocols. She helps ensure that our office follows current requirements and maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff alike. Her attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards help support the overall care experience for every family that visits our office.

Kathy also enjoys keeping up with local happenings through her grandchildren and brings warmth and positivity to the practice every day. Outside the office, she enjoys arts and crafts and is especially known around the holidays for the decorative gifts she creates for the team. Families appreciate her kind and caring personality, and many children feel comfortable with her calm and friendly approach.

Jill

Certified Dental Assistant

Jill is a certified Massachusetts-licensed dental assistant who graduated from STCC in 1988. She has experience working in a variety of dental settings and brings valuable knowledge to our pediatric dental team.

Throughout her career, Jill has worked with developmentally challenged children and understands the importance of patience, communication, and individualized care. She helps create a supportive environment where children can feel more comfortable during their visits.

Outside of work, Jill enjoys volunteering with the National Great Pyrenees Dog Rescue Team and creating stained glass artwork. Her caring nature and broad experience contribute to the welcoming atmosphere we strive to provide for every patient and family.
